What to Do with Pests

Bugs and other pests come with any garden.  With herbs, there are some that are natural repellents so that is definitely a plus.  However, at one point or another, you will definitely encounter a bug or two – maybe more.  So what do you do?

Insecticides would probably the first thing to come to mind.  Yet remember that these plants are going straight to your table and you wouldn’t want poisonous insecticides on them.  As such, it would be best to use organic insecticides – yes there is such a thing.  You can get them in gardening stores.  In general, you have insecticidal soap and insecticidal oil.  You can even use isopropyl rubbing alcohol.  Though it is not organic, it is relatively safe and is effective.
